If you’ve ever worked with JavaScript before, you know that getting your javascript to work across the various browsers is a royal pain in the butt. The fact that you can’t create a tooltip without having to have a cross platform library to position the tooltip window on the screen is a major testament to this. Can’t someone create an industry standard way of programming with javascript on the browsers so that I can just concentrate on getting the job done?They have–it’s called jQuery.
